Corundum ceramic air sampling filter made by 3F Filtration mainly installed in the heated air sampling probe and line on continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS).
Why we should use filters made from corundum sands that is because the gases monitored by CEMS are usually high temperature, acid and alkaline gas, like: SO2, NOX, CO, etc. All these gases emitted from normally industrial factory stack are poisonous to human being meanwhile would be harmful to atmospheric environment.
Corundum ceramic filter sintered from natural corundum sands under 1600-1900℃. it can resist high temperature as high as 800-1000℃, meanwhile corundum ceramic itself has character of strong acid and base resistance, that is why this type of filter become ideal filtering element used in CEMS.
